Using the Today Function in Flow Conditions

When creating Flows you may need to have conditions that compare a date to today’s date.

Example: If [Due Date] is greater than Today

To use the Today function in a condition type in utcnow() then open the step in Advanced Mode. It will look something like this:

utcnow today flow microsoft

You will need to remove the single quotes that are around utcnow():

flow utcnow right way

utcnow() will then appear like this when you go back to Basic mode, if not there is an issue:

utcnow function

  1. Hi, I got an error for this function. My flow condition is If ‘due date (ex: 20 Jan 2018 05.00 AM) ‘ is greater or equals than ‘today (ex : 20 Jan 2018 06.00 AM)’, then update item and send an email notif. I used the same as you did. Could you help me and advise?
